Nanoledge Inc has closed a multi-million dollar series A financing round to further its development and manufacture of resins that integrate nanoparticles into composite materials. The firm, which recently re-located to Montreal from France sells its base resins into several industries including aerospace, high-tech, wind energy and sporting goods. The amount of the financing round was not disclosed and the co-lead investors are ID Capital and iNovia Capital with participation from Emertec Gestion. In addition to working with a diverse range of partners, Nanoledge also plans to act as a commercialization channel for other innovative firms in the composites industry….
